Most diamond painting experts will recommend that you start from the bottom and work your way up. It is also advised that you work using one colour of diamonds at a time as you work.

Once you have finished your work of art, you can use the protective film to cover your painting and then gently roll over the surface with a rolling pin to make sure all diamonds are securely held in place.
